Guy 2: Something that she likes.
Guy 1: Well, what did you get for your wife?
Guy 2: Something that she wanted. What does your mom like?
Guy 1: Yelling at me.

Rant Time
I've been thinking of keeping my blog here instead of moving like I was thinking about doing in an earlier post. I definitely plan on changing things up in my posts, trying to be more productive here and stop waiting months to upload my photos and just get my posts OUT here, ugh...I'm such the procrastinator at times. I hope to get more graphic stuff going *pray* that it all works here. I'm going to relax a bit more when writing...not really giving a sh*t and baring all is kinda my style, hahah...OK, I'm not a total b*tch so don't read me wrong ;P I just feel I had ran into a few snags MONTHS back with my blog earlier in the year and I kinda miss airing my biz, lol. I think perhaps sharing more of my personal style might be kinda interesting...or perhaps lack of style...IDK but whatever, all I can be is myself.
As for other news I celebrated my B-Day with Mr. Sweety this week which...was really all I wanted and it was so much more then I expected it to be. He also came baring gifts, a cute Aeropostale hoodie and MY HOME TEAM San Diego Chargers mug ;P I can't believe he got me the mug, I know he's hatin' on mah team with him being a Steelers fan(and they've been doing better this year then his team, lolz). We even danced salsa all Wednesday night, OMG, super fun but IDK whats with these bartenders here acting like whatever tip you leave them is NEVER enough. Anywhooo...he has became my new friend this year and for almost a year now we have managed to keep a friendship(we started hanging out last X-Mas Eve when he ran after me leaving work and surprisingly full-on smooched me, ahaha). Oddly enough he is probably the biggest secret I've kept this year...as my family and 99% of my co-workers haven't a clue about our relationship, eep.
Due to the blizzard blowing in the DC area tonight I won't be driving home in "Made in Japan"(thats what I call my car BTW) because its rear wheel drive and no ABS so it really sux in the winter weather. I will be camping out at a nearby hotel by work tonight, loading up on groceries from the closest gas station ;P Did someone say Ramen?! LOL. I can't wait to take a warm bath...had a longggg past few days and haven't been home since my B-Day.
As for other news, I got a new addition to my fish tank...found a baby guppy fry swimming about during a water change, can't wait to watch it grow up! My parents are currently fish-sitting for me ;D Also I'm working on a new 2010 layout for M-H...lots of ideas...so little time...and trying to turn it into what I imagine...eh...not happening, lol. Okay well I gotta jet and get to my room now so...catch ya readers later!

Rugged Warehouse Shopping *Updated*
One of my more recent fave haunts to shop at this year has been Rugged Warehouse, a store where name brands are less expensive.
Most people have seen Miley Cyrus trending this plaid top around and you've probably found similar ones at Wal-Mart for $12 recently, but this one from RW(plus size) was originally $12 and I got it on sale for $10 which is knee length on me(I'm 5'4). The downfall to most of these is aside from looking like a cute country picnic tablecloth you may appear maternity-ish(as the top flares out a bit from under your boobs), hah. BTW the necklace in the pic I recently bought at KOHLS which is by Axcess although I like it more when I wear it with this other necklace I picked up with it.
I recently saw this $2495 Valentino rose handbag on MySpace, thanks to Britney Snow who showed us her closet. While out shopping at RW I saw a purse by Alexia Crawford(her name doesn't seem to be written on the purse itself but on the original price tag) that kinda reminded me of it and for $20 bucks it was going home with me(it happened to be the last one). I just adore the circular pattern on the inside of this bag ;P Its strap is adjustable so it can be a handbag or worn long shoulder-strap style, the pull ends can also be tucked inside the bag if they bug ya hanging out.
While looking through the Valentino purses I noticed I had an EXACT replica of this $795 silver clutch which is the only clutch I own(it's pretty awesome because the bow part that sticks up top allows you to slide your wrist through so you aren't totally hand carrying it, although the satin fabric can easily get dirty) but I spent $38 for it at Macy's! So my Steve Madden dupe was A LOT less then the Valentino(I always get compliments on it) and I think I love my clutch even more now! Also appears that even Jessica Simpson sports the same clutch in a stripe pattern ;D

Please ignore my WHITE legs but I also picked up these $10 heels at RW which were practically love at first sight and don't they look sooo similar to the 2010 summer fashion show from D & G(pictured above my shoes) and the ones from Ageha! I'll prolly trim the excess lace off cuz its pretty long and odd looking. BTW these look like a lot of work to lace up in the front but once they're laced all you have to do is unzip the back of the heel so...its sorta a one time deal.

Blogger Blahs
I've been thinking of making some changes in the New Year and one of them being to change blog hosts.
I like the fact that Blogger isn't blocked at my job (yet! *crosses fingers*) and that its become a popular host for a lot of Bloggers. Of course the fact its free hosting is also great. It does have pretty cool and handy side bar features but on occasion even these have mysteriously deleted itself.
Unfortunately Blogger has a lot of things I don't care for at all. Its HTML coding while writing blog posts is taking me more time to correct its everyday errors rather than me spending more time doing creative posts. Its header image upload also locks up permanently when using .gif files with more than one frame. Not to mention its occasional errors of people not being able to comment occasionally. Adding almost any animated image or normal image to a blogger post is practically a challenge as the HTML coding adds dividers/breaks/paragraphs on its own and is my biggest annoyance with the host. Not to mention its Date/Time Post Options are not always working in your favor and it decides to post in its own time frame (for me anyway).
Although HTML and web design have become 2nd nature to me for the last 13yrs I feel if it were to be more blogger layout friendly such as AOL Easy Designer or MySpace (for example) that this may also be a perk to those that aren't so savvy in that dept of customizing a layout. I've found that most of the sites outside of Blogger that offer free blogger layouts often have glitches which won't even allow their templates to work properly.
In the past I've tried such hosts as WordPress and LiveJournal (practically forgot how those ran for me back then), having a better understanding of what I'm looking for now in a blog host may help me find what I'm looking for. I'd almost take Ameblo into consideration but its more Japanese based (which I'm not so fluent and may find annoyance in it). Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated ;)
For anyone else looking into the same thing CLICK HERE, this is a link I found that tells you more about other blog hosts.

Home for the Holidays
This year I FINALLY got my black desktop size X-Mas tree that I sooo badly wanted last year (you have no idea!). I got this one for $15 at Borders (of all the places I never shop at! LOLZ).
I got all my decorations from Wal-Mart this year, wish I could have found a topper and tree skirt that I loved XD Can you see me in the shiny silver ornaments takin' pix? Now that I have my black tree...I secretly saw a dark purple one at Wal-Mart I want! Ahhhaha...my luck but maybe next year??. If black X-mas trees aren't your thang then perhaps these pics I took recently of our first '09 snow (me playin' photog yet again) can help put ya in the spirit.

Oh yeaaa...it wouldn't be winter without these migratory squatters lurking about my home!

BTW here's my Thanksgiving dinner I cooked, fww that was some work but I enjoyed it. If it makes ya hungry well...I invited EVERYONE on Twitter, E-How and MySpace over! I slept for 5 days straight after all that food, no joke! LOL.
My homemade pumpkin pie! NOMZ ^.^
Cheers and Happy Holidays Everyone!

Dot or Not
I've seen this necklace at Forever21 but I noticed a lot of people actually have this one and I managed to save a $1.77 by finding a slightly different one on EBay. WOOT for being different for less, ahah...cheap is the new chic ya know XD
*~*~*~Nail Time~*~*~*
I recently saw Juns mani/pedi (above) and tried my "hand" in replicating it (below) using polish I already owned ^.^
(with dots)
(without dots)
The pink color is Sally Hansen in "Pardon My French", the gold glitter is CoverGirl in "Gold Rush" and I used a base color before adding the CG color which was Milani in "Good Morning Sunshine" which was also used to create the dot work which I did using a toothpick. I ended up happy with my final results except I should've just bought the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Gold cuz my dots look bleh to me.
Mani How-To
Step1: Apply your Clear BaseCoat and let dry.
Step2: You'll need to apply a total of 3 coats of "Pardon My French" (the pink on the 2 fingers) and 2 coats of "Good Morning Sunshine" (the gold on the 3 fingers) and let dry between coats.
Step 3: Apply 5 coats of "Gold Rush" on top of your "Good Morning Sunshine" (let dry between coats) and apply your dots of "Good Morning Sunshine" on top of your "Pardon My French" using a toothpick and let dry.
Step 4: Apply a Clear TopCoat and let dry completely.
Pedi How-To
Step1: Apply your Clear BaseCoat and let dry.
Step2: You'll need to apply a total of 3 coats of "Guchi Muchi Puchi" (the pink on the 2 toes) and 2 coats of "Good Morning Sunshine" (the gold on the 3 toes) and let dry between coats.
Step 3: Apply 5 coats of "Gold Rush" on top of your "Good Morning Sunshine" (let dry between coats) and let dry.
Step 4: Apply a Clear TopCoat and let dry completely.
Well my B-Day is coming up before ya know it, hollaaa...ok please don't. My B-Day always tends to be the worst day of the year for me...I have no clue why its just generally a total cr*p day aside from getting older, I have no expectations at all but I may be celebrating during the weekend...maybe a double B-Day with Mr. Sweety?? IDK.

I'm not sure if its noticeable to most but the pink on the toes appears slightly darker to me then her mani (maybe its the flash, IDK). To me it makes sense to use a darker shade on the toes because the color looks less fleshy from afar since you don't have the dots on 'em. So for the pink on her pedi I opted for my Essie in "Guchi Muchi Puchi" (I totally love saying that name, ahaha).
