Off to Tampa
I made it to Tampa in a tiny "Seahawk Cessna", it took us 9 hours from take off! I have tons of photo's to share later. Took this photo using the Pinhole feature on my new SLR, not bad right?!
As for the layout...celeb Brooke Hogan was born in Tampa, FL so I figured it might fit for this layout design. Oranges, Flamingos and ironically enough after designing this layout I ended up seeing a white/albino peacock by the airport in Tampa.
I might not be using my laptop for awhile as my charger is now broken D: hopefully I can get one on EBay and have it by Monday at best (doubtful about it though, hah).

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28
My new digi cam FINALLY arrived! It only took a month and a half thanks to that horrific scam of an online company I mentioned before. Anyway, here's a few unedited photos I took today on my drive around town (photo's shot from my car). I believe I used the wrong setting for these shots (whoopsie!), no flash of course but I did attach my black lens hood.
I saw these speckled turkey hens (I think that's what they are? lolz) running in the grass next to the street so I just had to pull over and snap a few shots of these cute rounded gals, not sure their exact breed but they looked lively and interesting enough.
This house looked so cute in all its April floral glory. Sorry you can see my side view mirror on the bottom right corner...I was driving and snapping at the same time :P Luckily it's not a busy street.
Just as I hit a gravel path I saw a sign that read "No Trespassing" so as I turned around in a nearby driveway I saw this blonde mini horse all alone and chomping away at the newly growing grass. It reminded of "Rob & Big" with their mini horse (I lovvvve that show, but I guess it's just Rob Dyrdek now-a-days).
Since when do cops drive trucks? with shell-tops no-less? Anyway...had to snap a photo of my recent find ;P

Animated Pixels
I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in my pixel art that I use to create .gif images(animated net graphics), so here's part of a progressive bird project I created today from left to right as well as a few others I created today due to boredom. If you're interested in this then I can perhaps give a few blog tutorials on them later so that you can learn how to create your own ;)April 12, 2009

I Heart Makeup & Accessories
So I realized I've bought a few pairs of new shoes recently and haven't even broken them in really. All these are from Target except for the Chucks, they're from Lady Foot Locker. Anyway thought I'd share my recent shoe haul with ya, woot.
I was debating getting the single Sonia Kashuk brushes from Target as I've yet to try them out but since they didn't have the singles I was planning to purchase I bought this adorable limited edition coral brush kit for $20 (the price of 2 Sonia K. single brushes). The nacho cheese flavoring they sell at Target tasted more like salt rather than cheese...hopefully I find a better brand for shake cheese. I had a major DVD haul as well...purchased Nights in Rodanthe (kinda boring and sad), Australia (was told to watch it) and...Sukiyaki Django?? Hah, yeaaaa...OK ok, I heart Asian men ya'll know whats up ^.^ OooH Ohhh also I saw somewhere (forgot where exactly) but this girl in a photo had on a gray coloured nail polish which was loveee so I found me one, it's by Revlon and the color is called "Steel-her heart" (this past fall color, guess I'm behind on it not that I care...I start trending on my time not others) and so it did <3 cheeee
I recently received both 88 Palettes from Coast Scents this past week since I heard I'd be disappointed for not getting both and I've done a few looks thus far just to see what all the fuss was about (So lemme know wat ya think!).
Eye Products Used
-Loreal Decrease (eye primer)
First Prime your eye. Start with color #1 as your inner and under brow area. Color #2 goes over your inner lightly and to your outer and also under the eye. Color #3 is your outer V and crease. 3 coats of mascara on the top lashes and a quick light coat on the bottom lashes. If you want to deepen the look you can use a black eye liner but I didn't have time.
P.S. I was going to share my eye makeup I did today that I got complimented on while out shopping this afternoon but I'm feeling a bit exhausted right now so I'll save it for a later time.
Here's a pinky coloured eye shadow look I did the other day using the 88 Ultra Shimmer palette. The images via BlackBerry are not as vibrant and pretty as in person.
Eye Products Used
-C.S. light silver, pink and pink/purple shimmer eyeshadow (see photo of palette picks above)
-CoverGirl LashBlast luxe mascara in Black Platinum

Close Out Idiots
Almost a month ago (April 3rd being a month) I placed an order on CloseOutGenius.com for a new digital camera (which cost around $280 with shipping). This company tells you that you need to call them after your order has been placed so that they can ship the item to you. In the process of calling the 800 number it was busy for nearly a week straight and then I had finally got through. Once the representative gets on the phone he tries to talk you into purchasing additional items (ex. SD memory card, battery upgrade, case, etc) so I caved and spent an extra $120 for a better battery (a free case was included).
My camera has yet to arrive, so I placed a call to the company once again today. The representative (I believe the same person) told me that my camera had been lost in the shipping process and the camera has been discontinued, and that for an extra $50 he could send me a better one. So first he could have had the decency to notify me about the camera issue and now he wants me to pay more money for a “better” version of the camera. I refused to pay his $50 so then he offered me $30 and finally I was just like “can I just get my money back” and then he said “hold on; let me talk to my supervisor”. Also he had the nerve to tell me that “you must be a hard working woman, what do you do for a living? Real Estate, Car Dealer…?” ok…that’s taking things a bit too personally for my taste. After his 1 minute of hold time as he claimed to talk to his Supervisor he told me he’ll ship out the camera free (okay so we went from $50 to $30 to Free…hmm).
So he now claims I’ll get a tracking number sent to my e-mail tomorrow and if not…I’m going to call him again. I’m supposed to get this camera within 5 days (better be in my hands by next Wednesday) according to the representative. I bet once this camera does arrive, if at all…it’ll probably be a piece of junk and I’ll have to send it back or something, only to get the run around again. Worst case scenario…I call my bank and tell them they stole my money (they’re good about online ordeals). Maybe I should have told the representative that I’m a cop or FBI (not really of course, lol) and I don’t make a living by being an online thief. Why did he act like it was so hard to give me back my money anyway? It’s pretty bad that I had to repeat my zip code 3 times to him…idiot.
