Black Friday Bargains

First off...HAPPY THANKSGIVING! While most of you are still devouring your turkey dinner ;) I've already been searching the internet as to where to get the best deals AKA "Black Friday" on the things I'm dieing to get my hands on! I've been seeing lots of deals but it seems like the deals aren't that great this year with only a 25% discount or free online shipping, can't they do better than that?! eep.

WalMart Bargains
-Kung Fu Panda on DVD (as well as many other DVD's) is $9 at WalMart from 5-11am (Mom says starting at Midnight?)!
-Wii Console for $250 at WalMart but I also found 3 other stores online that can give you the same price (Barnes & Noble.com, Newegg.com, Circuit City)

Didn't notice any major Black Friday deals here online but I decided to look into digi cams deals.

Vans is having a one day Thanksgiving Sale the 27th! I almost always wear Vans and buy a new pair during holiday season. I think regular sneakers are some what outdated in todays fashion world anyway :P

Did anyone happen to see the Twilight or Bolt movie this week?! I heard Twilight wasn't all that great :P I did get to watch Madagascar 2 this week and it was pretty decent ^.^ cute movie but my friend said it seemed a little short.

As for Mr. MySpace...uhmz...I ended up breaking things off :( Part of me feels bad but another part of me feels I deserve to be with someone that REALLY wants to be with me. I did however meet an interesting Korean guy from MySpace early this morning, it was fun chatting with him ^.^ but I'm not rushing into anything.

Shop Till I Drop

I did around 4 hours of shopping with my mom today and bought tons of stuff...half of it being for me really, Hah, go fig (so easy to shop for yourself ya know). The John Deere stuff (from WalMart) is for my x-bf/friend, he likes wearing his John Deere hat (I call him an Asian Hick when he wears it too, ha ha) but we bought a little white tree together last year so now he can deck it out at his new bachelor pad (he's such a kid at heart >.<). The Mariah Carey perfume (awesome stuff!) is selling like hotcakes at the stores it seems so I found these at KOHLS and bought 2 (ya never know when a friend will do something last minute for x-mas and your empty handed!). I also found the hottest silver and black gift wrap from WalMart :P
The things I bought for myself today, two really awesome gold colored pillows from Linens-N-Things (they were 25% off) at they're going outta business sale. Normally I'd find these pillows possibly ugly but they're the perfect color and style for my 60's inspired bedroom makeover ;) I finally found some cheap bright orange nail polish (called Mango) in the Petites brand from the Rite Aid store although I wouldn't have minded it being a bit brighter :P The rest of the stuff you see is from KOHLS, I got the coolest Vera Wang scarf on sale (I believe 50% off) and you can wear it 4 different ways because it has little snaps on it! Got an adorable white winter hat, some Vera Wang gloves (not sure if I'm crazy about them but good for work and on sale as well) and 2 Candies brand necklaces (the one with the bow reminds me of Japan style and the pearl one is so like "Material Girl", lol).

Me Oh So Happy

I'm sooo happy I finally got my PayPal/EBay disputes/bank account ordeal over with just now! I was totally stressing, I've definitely learned it's MOST important to always have a tracking number when selling items through EBay and not to trust certain people with doing me any favors. I had to go through so much stress and frustration with PayPal it was ridiculous honestly.

I also have a new MySpace crush...OMG! Hah, I'm such a dork >.<

I also worked on this new Tila Tequila layout, I know a bikini may not represent the Thanksgiving spirit all that well but...she just looked so happy, haha. Anyway...I think its cute :P

Japanese Diet

I thought this video on Japanese diet vs. American diet was pretty interesting. I knew they ate a lot healthier than us Americans but it tells a few other interesting facts. As an American...I could live off sushi everyday, haha. I noticed recently though that as I laid off the soft drinks that I enjoyed for awhile that when I went back to drinking the same soft drinks...they actually started tasting wayyy to sweet for my liking and I now find myself avoiding soft drinks a bit more and actually purchasing more tea and water based drinks.

EBay, PayPal and a Customer

The other day I asked my mom to do me a favor and send out a package to an EBay seller for me through USPS. However, my mom set this up and she is claiming the way she did it there was no tracking number (very bad). So the person receiving the package is now claiming they have yet to receive the item and now they're filing a dispute claim through Paypal. So now that this EBay buyer has locked up my Paypal account I can't exactly refund the money and I can't even see if this person has the package or not without a tracking number. So now I have to regain access into my personal bank account in order to fix my Paypal account in order to Refund this Ebay sellers money for an item they could already have. So not only will I lose the money and the item to this buyer but, I'm sure the negative feedback this person may or may not leave to my EBay account will not help matters. So much for favors >.< so upset.

Panda Released

So today one of my newly fave animated movies finally released on DVD...Kung Fu Panda! Skadoosh!! Mental Note: Must...get...paws...on...DVD, haha.

As for other news I went to a wedding this past Friday and jeez...I had no idea about these Chinese/Korean style weddings. The food kept coming non-stop (a 10 course meal!), I felt like I was eating seafood all night long (probably because we did)! There were fried shrimp balls, jellyfish/squid, abalones, chicken cooked like duck, tilapia (I believe), lots of shrimp, a soup similar to shark fin (I think it was crab), lobster, fried rice with lop chung, raspberry filled Asian style wedding cake along with cantaloupe and oranges. Don't forget the Hennessy, champagne, Heineken and sierra mist...ouiii...my tummy got so sick afterwards...darn that "Fortune" restaurant :(

So aside from work today I got to check out Mimi's Cafe by Dulles Town Center mall, I believe it's a french/New Orleans style place. The bakery style stuff was pretty tasty but the other stuff...eh, a bit bland. I hope to try the raisin french toast that I heard another table raving over, suppose to be really good...till next time. I also got to eat one of my other faves today, cha su bao! Yummy! Not only that but I went to the Asian mart with my friend and bought BBQ Shrimp Crackers, Yessss, I love those :D I also picked up some Korean style green tea (very gross) :P Oh and I bought some pineapple Thai style desert that looks more like a drink in a plastic pouch...it was a bit too sweet though so I didn't finish it.

Is it just me or am I the only chick that can spend $100 at CVS in an hour or so of shopping?. Okay, so maybe Mariah put me over budget...I didn't even know how it'd smell (it's actually a very pretty and feminine soft scent, wonderful!) I'm also going to create my own blinged-out nails using these stick on gem decals ^.^ Oh yes of course I did my normal eyeshadow $plurge, I probably have every color of eyeshadow imaginable ;P BTW in the top left corner of the photo is an adorable pink and white "Love's" kitty, it's sooo kawaii and the Sugar Kiss scent reminds me of "Aqualina" parfume...sorry, I know a bit about scents seeing as I did research on it awhile back.I also figured out what cologne the BF wears while on my nightly CVS shopping spree...and no it isn't "cat nip" as he says. It's a $14.99 CVS bottle of "Las Vegas - Playboy" (stinky Obama lovin a** he is), yick. I am also very in love with the hair style and makeup of the below image taken from my Sweet magazine, soooo great :D

Queen of Hearts

Well the devil themed costume just wasn't working out because of the style of my dress. Luckily it fit nicely in being turned into the "Queen of Hearts" ;) I really didn't want to purchase an entirely new outfit on Halloween, so I worked with what I had. Luckily a stop at "JoAnn" craft store helped save the day in turning my outfit into a one of a kind adorable costume which people seemed to enjoy (it was surprisingly attractive, more-so than those short puffy mini skirts everyone was wearing). Not pictured was my long sleeved black lace top I wore under the dress, black pantyhose, custom made heart lace necklace and matching bracelets, and a diamond and silver heart tiara.
Here's a picture of my black shoes from DEBS with added adhesive felt hearts which were reinforced with some stitches. Also my one of a kind scepter using a plastic rod, red ribbon, a clip on rose and a white with gold tinsel boa trimmed to size.

I know my mom had been a bit harsh with my dress yesterday but she actually helped me pull the items I bought from the craft store into this delightful outfit, how sweet.

P.S. Did anyone else have a lack of "trick-or-treaters" this year?!
